As of yesterday The Cage is complete!! Thanks to LT Shuey and Det Russel for emptying out the space for us to use. LT Cates, PTL Kozlowski, PTL Franczak, CSO McTighe, and I then cleaned out the space and put it back together. PTL Kozlowski, CSO McTighe, and I spent another 6-10 hours putting the finishing touches on the room to include the plywood barrier. A HUGE thank you to PTL Kozlowski and CSO McTighe who did most of the work on their own time. PTL Franczak purchased a couple more sections of matting and PTL Kozlowski purchased the other materials (Approx $100) to make this happen.
The Olympic weight set was picked up from Sears (who provided us a discount so we could make the purchase using donated gift cards!) Thanks to Det Warren for donating a dumbell set for our use as well. The pull up bars and olympic rings are on the way. The next step for us is to clear out the area where the Speed Trailer was so we can take down that section of the cage and give us another 100 sq feet of space. Thanks to everyone for their help and teamwork in making this happen!!
